And to think some of you thought we quit the page! Fuck You! We're not going out like that. In fact we have no plans on going anywhere. We're 3 Years Old and never in the history of the music business have so many people been scared of a 3 Year Old.

So we thought we'd once again look back at our year.

September 1, 2000: Gilly is announced as the 1st Sludgeaholic Of The Month!

September 5, 2000: The worst 20 Questions in Metal Sludge history goes up today with Twisted Sister's Eddie Ojeda.

September 7, 2000: We report that Ratt's Warren DeMartini and Bobby Blotzer got into a fight on their tour bus. Over the next couple of days the story grows as Jizzy Pearl and Bobby's son Mike reveal what happened, even though everybody's stories were slightly different.

September 9, 2000: Bobby Blotzer sends in an email giving his side of the story regarding the fight with Warren.

September 10, 2000: Blotzer posts on AOL about the fight and sends us another email. This gives us the opportunity to keep posting different pictures of Blotzer getting his ass kicked.

September 10, 2000: Results of the "Do You Listen To Both Skid Row And Poison" Poll go up.

September 11, 2000: Metal Sludge gets 7,830 hits in one day.

September 12, 2000: 20 Questions with Warrant's Jerry Dixon goes up.

September 13, 2000: We put up an interview with Poison security guard Big John!

September 15, 2000: Rikki Rockett starts the Dr. Rockett column at Metal Sludge!

September 17, 2001: The winner of the first ever Metal Sludge Scavenger Hunt is announced! The winner is a lad named Jim Bob Dwarf, who has since gone on to fame and fortune as our Sludge Embassador. Jim Bob got 528 points, absolutely destorying the competition. Some of the items Jim Bob got included a Mandy Moore cardboard cutout, a picture of Metal Sludge written on a chick's tits, a postcard from Gary, Indiana, an ALF 8x 10 and a picture of him buying condoms, Vaseline, douche and a cucumber!

September 19, 2000: 20 Questions with Anthrax's Charlie Benante goes up.
Porn superstar Jenna Jameson sends in a photo of her wearing our Metal Sludge Slutty Tank Top!

September 21, 2000: We start our Fozzy Concert Review Contest. Sludgeaholics send in their favorite Fozzy concert memory and Moongoose McQueen picked the winner. In related news, we put up a Rewind with WWF Superstar Chris Jericho.

September 26, 2000: 20 Questions with Ex-Great White drummer Audie Desbrow goes up.

September 27, 2000: Rock On The Decline goes up featuring 5 bands including Blowtorch, the worst band in the history of recorded music!

October 1, 2000: Donna Anderson's Spin Magazine article comes out!
Our October Sludgeaholic Of The Month is announced as Minneapolis' own Tollywood!

October 3, 2000: 20 Questions with Killer Dwarfs Russ Dwarf goes up. In that interview the world is introduced to Sebastian The Goat.

October 10, 2000: Bidding for Metal Sludge's 1st Ebay Auction is over. The winning bid was $152.50 for Rock On The Decline band Blowtorch's shitty CD! And the winning bidder....Jim Bob Dwarf!
20 Questions with Dope's Edsel Dope goes up. It's the first 20 Questions that was done in audio as Metal Edge's Paul Gargano asked Edsel our questions and then sent us the tape.

October 11, 2000: Metal Sludge has an all-time high with 8,585 hits!

October 12, 2000: A Metal Sludge sign makes it onto the WWF's Smackdown!

October 17, 2000: 20 Questions with Mars Electric's Jacob Bunton goes up. Shortly there after nobody ever hears from Jacob or Mars Electric again.

October 21, 2000: An Alice Cooper roadie sends us an email responding to Jacob Bunton's 20 Questions. We sent up a poll asking Sludgeaholics to pick which side they're on, Jacob's or The Roadie's. The poll lasts a week.

October 22, 2000: Then ECW wrestler and current WWF wrestler Justin Credible is shown wearing a Metal Sludge shirt! Justin wearing our shirt looks just incredible.

October 24, 2000: Fozzy frontman Moongoose McQueen (Chris Jericho) does 20 Questions with us.
KNAC's The Rack is shown wearing a Metal Sludge shirt for the first time.

October 29, 2000: A Metal Sludge sign makes it onto the WWF's Sunday Night Heat show on MTV. Now all we need is a sign on Raw and we'll have a WWF Trifecta!

October 30, 2000: Results of the "Jacob Bunton vs. The Roadie" poll go up with Jacob winning and the roadie tapping out!

October 31, 2000: 20 Questions with former Rip Editor and KNAC guru Lonn Friend goes up.

November 1, 2000: Our November Sludgeaholic Of The Month is Scotti Corabi from our Yahoo Metal Sludge Fan Club!

November 6, 2000: A Sludgeaholic does an AOL IM chat with Gerri Miller, which is about as close to a Metal Sludge interview as well get with her.

November 7, 2000: 20 Questions with Slaughter's Jeff Blando goes up, even though he'll deny doing the interview 3 months later. Lying bitch.

November 13, 2000: Jani Lane was Captured by a yet unknown Sludgette named Chantel.

November 14, 2000: Porn star Jenteal does 20 Questions with us.

November 16, 2000: A Rewind with the Blue Meanie goes up.

November 17, 2001: Metal Sludge announces that Joe C has died and basically scoops everyone, including MTV and the official Press Release.

Having their tour manager take the tape that Sludgeaholic Wendell used to do 20 Questions on.
For saying they were sending that tape to us but instead sending us a blank tape.

November 21, 2000: 20 Questions with Warrant's original guitarist Josh Lewis goes up, which includes some never before seen old ass photos.

November 27, 2000: "What Rock Stars Were Thankful For On Thanksgiving" goes up 4 days after Thanksgiving.

November 28, 2000: 20 Questions with Hair Of The Dog's Ryan Cook goes up.

November 30, 2000: Our Metal Sludge Extravaganza hits LA! Tarzana to be exact. It is hosted by Poison's Rikki Rockett and Porn Star Kendra Jade. Hair Of The Dog and Phil "Sleepy Time" Lewis are the bands.

December 1, 2000: Our December Sludgeaholic Of The Month is Jim Bob Dwarf!

December 5, 2000: 20 Questions with Motley Crue's Randy Castillo goes up, in which he talks in depth about his cancer.

December 7, 2000: Metal Sludge finally makes it into Metal Edge! The February 2001 issue of Metal Edge has us in the 2000 Year In Review on page 73! Metal Edge Editor Paul Gargano goes through the year from A to Z and we are listed under W, as in www.metal-sludge.com.

December 8, 2000: Metal Sludge gets mentioned on VH-1's "Rock Show" by Cane. He mentions our Randy Castillo interview.

December 10, 2000: Our Emails Of The Week feature emails from Randy Castillo, Poison security guard, and a little known guitarist named Darrell Roberts, who says, "Just wanted to say i am a regular visitor to your site and i think it's fuckin great!!"

December 12, 2000: A Rewind with Metal Edge Editor Paul Gargano goes up. A few hours later, KNAC's Lonn Friend sends in an email responding to it.
20 Questions with Tour Manager Larry Morand goes up.

December 13, 2000: We held our second Ebay Auction which was 4 tickets to the Guns N Roses show in Las Vegas on New Year's Eve! Tickets were general admission and on the main floor. There were 2 winners and after the show, they sent in their own Guns N Roses concert reviews.

December 14, 2000: Jim Bob Dwarf does his first interview for us by getting 20 Questions with Jani Lane in person at the Super 8 Motel in Valparaiso, IN. We make the interview our surprise 20 Questions to kick off the new year.

December 19, 2000: 20 Questions with Firehouse's C.J. Snare goes up.

December 26, 2000: 20 Questions with BulletBoys/Mandy Moore guitarist Jason Hook goes up.

January 1, 2001: Metal Sludge debuts it's very first Sludgette Of The Month, which is Chantel Covino. Our January Sludgeaholic Of The Month is Steve Ponchaud.

January 30, 2001: Flotsam And Jetsam's Jason Ward does 20 Questions with us.

January 31, 2001: Slaughter's Jeff Blando says in an interview that he never did 20 Questions with us, even though his answers came from him email account and his roadie set up the interview.

February 1, 2001: A Rewind with ex-Firehouse bass player Perry Richardson goes up. In the Rewind he blasts Firehouse saying calling CJ Snare a "wuss" and Bill Levery "two-faced," among other things.

Our Sludgeaholic Of The Month is Over Much and our Sludgette Of The Month is Jenny Hoffman.

February 3, 2001: The Classic Metal Radio Show out of Akron, OH., debuts the first "Metal Sludge Song Of The Week." Of course the show is hosted by Sludgeaholic Wendell Neeley. The first Song Of The Week is "Look What The Cat Dragged In" by Poison.

February 4, 2001: The results of our Sludgeaholic Choice Awards go up. Worst Band, Album and Tour Of The Year go to Limp Bizkit. Best Album Of The Year goes to Iron Maiden, Who Deserves More Success goes to Anthrax, and Best 20 Questions goes to Donna D'Errico. The photo to your left is Anthrax receiving their award with presenters Britney Spears and Gary Coleman.

Dr. Rockett does his second radio show on KNAC as Jani Bon Neil and Donna Anderson hang out in the KNAC chat room.

February 5, 2001: Sebitchian Bach gets his 3rd B.A.F.B.A. for threatening the webmaster of Skid Row Online.

January 6, 2001: 20 Questions with former BulletBoy Jimmy D'Anda go up.

February 10, 2001: Metal Sludge gets it's 2 Millionth Hit at 9:22 EST. Jan Laureyns from Belgium gets the 2 Millionth Hit and wins a DVD, CD, and becomes a Sludgeaholic Of The Month.
Jim Bob Dwarf goes to Lemont, IL. and does Rewinds with Enuff Z'Nuff's Chip Z'Nuff and Donnie Vie on this night.

February 13, 2001: 20 Questions with Wolfpac's Daddy Long Legs go up, in which he talks about grave robbing, having sex with dead bodies, having sex with dead underage girls, having sex with live underage girls, peeing in your own mouth and spitting it on strippers, and fat guys going through the wall.

February 14, 2001: Hair Of The Dog's John Sepetys sends us an email telling fans that he's leaving the band.

February 20: 2001: 20 Questions with Savatage's Chris Caffery go up.

February 23, 2001: Metal Sludge reveals Exclusive Photos of Jani Lane on MTV's Cribs! It includes numerous still video shots including the shot to your right which is Jani relaxing in his pool.

February 22, 2001: We put up the first on the Enuff Z'Nuff Rewinds. The first one is with Chip Z'Nuff, which was done by Jim Bob Dwarf in Chip's truck.

March 1, 2001: Sludgette Of The Month Allison Miller and Sludgeaholic Of The Month Mike Jones.

March 2, 2001: Kendra Jade sends in photos of her modeling our Metal Slut tank tops and baby dolls!

March 3, 2001: Our Email Of The Week features SR-71 singer Mitch Allen up against somebody's mom who claims he's older than he says he is.

March 4, 2001: Dr. Rockett does his 3rd KNAC show with his guest nurse, porn star Dynamite.

March 5, 2001: Sludgette Of The Month Allison Miller is stripped of her title for treason against Metal Sludge. Later in the day, the Sludgeaholics speak out and Allison is given a day to appear in court.

March 6, 2001: Sludgeaho Allison Miller appears in Sludge Court with the Honorary Judge Boy Floyd Presiding. The Sludgeaholics are given 4 verdicts to vote on and they are given a week to vote. Verdicts range from not guilty to a lifetime ban.
Metal Sludge also has it's highest day yet....as in hits, not pot, dummy. We get 12,134 hits.

March 6, 2001: 20 Questions with American Pearl's Kevin Quinn goes up.

March 8, 2001: Donnie Vie's Rewind goes up today.

March 12, 2001: A verdict is reached in "The Sludgeaholics vs. Allison Miller" case. Allison is found Guilty as charged, with one year probation, and her Sludgette Of The Month revoked. She avoids the lifetime ban so he can contribute in the future, which she does. The Sludgette Of The Month that replaces Allison is Intern Lori!

March 13, 2001: 20 Questions with Keel's Ronnie Keel go up.

March 20, 2001: Metal Sludge meets it's match as we put up 20 Questions with the one and only Lemmy!

March 22, 2001: A Rewind with Anthrax's Scott Ian goes up today. In the interview Scott say he will wear a Metal Sludge shirt on "The Rock Show."

March 23, 2001: Scott Ian wears a Metal Sludge shirt as he hosts VH-1's "The Rock Show!" Scott wins a Super Balls Award in the process.

March 27, 2001: 20 Questions with Supermodel, Singer, Actress, Goddess, and all around Humanitarian Josie Pearl go up. You know, Jizzy's wife. And the Gossip Board loves it!

March 30, 2001: A week after wearing a Metal Sludge shirt on "The Rock Show," Scott Ian plays Ozzy Stillbourne's video request.

March 31, 2001: In a desperate attempt at getting some press, BulletBoy Marq Torien starts talking shit about Metal Sludge on stage. This is the start of him mentioning Sludge on the page.

April 1, 2001: Our April Fools Joke goes up, which is an FU Award to Rikki Rockett and Scott Ian while we give the Super Balls Award to Gerri Miller and Sebastian Bach. Meanwhile, Dr. Rockett takes to the air on KNAC and discusses his thoughts on getting the FU Award. Dr. Rockett goes off about Sludge, which results in Jani Bon Neil firing Dr. Rockett live on the air via the chat room. Their battles continue throughout the show.

April 2, 2001: Metal Sludge gets it's trifecta when a Sludgeaholic bring a "Metal Sludge Rules" sign to Raw and it gets on camera! We have now been on all 3 of the WWF's top programs, Smackdown, Sunday Night Heat, and Raw. However, there is no truth to the rumor that Vince McMahon is interested in signing The Masked Bastard.

April 3, 2001: 20 Questions with Lizzy Borden goes up.

April 4, 2001: We put our post, "Worst Hair Bands Of All Time!" Also on this day, Metal Sludge is the first to report that Riki Rachtman plans on reopening The Cathouse.

May 29, 2001: 20 Questions with then Tuff guitar player Darrell Roberts goes up. Almost exactly a month later he quits Tuff to join WASP on the night of our Metal Sludge Extravaganza.

June 21, 2001: A Rewind with Atomic Punk/Metal Shop/Metal Sludge Extravaganza 3 host Ralph Saenz goes up today.

June 26, 2001: 20 Questions with Danger Kitty's (Metal Shop) Michael Diamond goes up.

June 27, 2001: Metal Sludge Extravaganza 3 hits LA once again! The show is hosted by Ralph Saenz and Josie Pearl. Metal Shop is the headliner and Tuff was also suppose to play but their guitarist quit the band hours before they went on. Stevie Rachelle took the stage and called his guitar player a bitch. Paul Gargano, Blue Meanie and Jasmin St. Claire, Jeff Pilson, Bobby Blotzer, Robbie Crane, Jason Hook and many others are in attendance.
