Cover:
5 Bang Gangs out of 10.
Boring. It's puke color and seems grungey. It
doesn't seem to fit the band in my opinion, and right now my opinion
is the only one that matters since I'm writing this. Go look at it online
and look for yourself.
Booklet: 4
Bang Gangs out of 10.
I'm not into this trendy, dirty look. The booklet
looks like it was dragged down a dirt road. No lyrics, and it's not
on your typical CD paper. It's more cardboardish. I think it's that
recycled paper shit. Anyway, for a major label release, it's kind of
weak. 7 pages with some credits and a few random lyrics here and there,
but nothing to get excited about.
Songs: 8
Bang Gangs out of 10.
This is good, melodic modern rock CD. There really
isn't a bad track on the CD and it's solid all the way around. Which
means that despite giving some love to the first single, radio will
probably ignore the rest of this CD because it's actually good! There
are some good rock songs with memorable hooks, there are some slower
songs, and there are some mid-tempo songs.
Comments: The
only problem I see with this band is their image might be a bit contrived
and their name "The Exies" is too trendy. To see The Exies
Exposed, you can go to our Exposed
section.
