FIREBALL MINISTRY "The Second Great Awakening"
by Ozzy Stillbourne

Cover: 9 Carny Rats out of 10.
This is metal cover. The artwork is the band drawn in what looks like some sort of firery tent and the one dude has a skull on a pole, the small chick is holding a snake above her head, the singer dude has a book open and is preaching, and the other tall blonde chick is just standing there looking hot. You have fire, snakes, skulls, hot chicks, and it's a drawing, so that's metal.

Booklet: 7 Carny Ratt out of 10.
Each band members gets it own page with a drawing of themselves, along with simple credits and thanks. It all looks good but lyrics would have been nice because at times I have no clue what the fuck this guy is saying. Though I do think you can find the lyrics on their website.

Songs: 8 Carny Ratts out of 10.
This Cd starts off with a nice, evil metal intro which leads into "King," which has to have one of the coolest riffs I've heard in a while. This Cd somewhat, and I said somewhat, reminds me of an Ozzy Osbourne and Randy Rhoads Cd. Some would call this stoner rock, and I can see that. Fans of Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Black Label Society, and Corrosion Of Conformity would dig this. It's riff heavy rock perfect for drinking a bunch of beer, smoking, and hanging out in a parking lot. The guitarist and bass player are both chicks, so that's even cooler.

Comments: XM Radio's The Boneyard plays these guys all the time. If given a spot on OzzFest or some exposure, they could get a good following. Iann Robinson thinks this is like the greatest band around right now, or something like that.
