TOMMY LEE "Never A Dull Moment"
by Jani Bon Neil

Cover: 5 Pam's out of 10.
It's Tommy's face basically. Eh, whatever.

Booklet: 10 Kid Rock's out of 10.
An automatic 10 because it mentions Metal Sludge! We're listed in the "No Thanks" section along with "The Enquirer, The Star, The Mirror, The Sun, The Globe, The Gopher who ate my freakin tomatoes, Shitty cell phone service" and shit like that! Other then our mention, the booklet sucks because it's a 14 page booklet with a few song lyrics and shots of Tommy's body. For having 14 panels, it's weaker than Tommy's liver, but mentioning us brings the booklet up to a 10!

Songs: 5 Vince Neil's out of 10.
The album is called "Never A Dull Moment" but I don't think he's talking about this CD, because that's certainly not the case here. There are quite a few dull moments here. Nothing that necessary sucks but nothing to wake somebody out of a comma either. "Hold Me Down" is the first single and it's getting some decent airplay, but it's an average song at best. The slower songs are basically nothing you haven't heard before but are probably the best songs on the CD. A few songs have some rapping. It's better than Methods Of Mayhem but it's not that much different.

Comments: It's a step in the right direction, and Tommy is probably better off on his own since Mick Mars is ill and Vince Neil is getting sloppier by the day. But if I'm going to pay to see Tommy Lee, I'd much rather see him behind the kit than on the guitar.
