Cover: 2
True Believers out of 10.
It has some weird design and just says Lillian Axe Live 2002. About
as exciting as watching these guys live.
Booklet: 9
True Believers out of 10.
This booklet has 14 fucking panels! It's a huge ass collage of photos
from over the years, has a message from the band along with thanks and
credits. Very well put together compared to what bigger bands have put
out. Singer Ron Taylor is now totally bald and looks like a completely
different person. He's got a fat, round face, a goatee, and no hair.
People tell me it's the same guy, so I'll take their word for it.
Songs: 7
True Believers out of 10.
This is a double CD because you
can't get all of Lillian Axe's flava to fit onto one CD! There are 21
songs total and minimal talk in between songs. All of their albums are
represented, even the rarities CD "Fields Of Yesterday," and
they were always the type of band to sound really good live and this
is no exception. Ron Taylor can still hit most of the notes and nothing
comes off embarrassing. Stevie Blaze pulls off the guitar work just
like the records and this is exactly what you would expect for a live
Lillian Axe CD.
Comment: If you're a Lillian Axe
freak, then you both should probably pick this up.
