INJECTED "Burn It Black"
by Donna Anderson

Cover: 5 Butch Walkers out of 10
I believe this is the side of a flag guitar on the floor that says Injected.

Booklet: 9 Butch Walkers out of 10
This doesn't come in a jewel case like a normal cd, but one of those digipacks. I think that's what they're called. It opens up with a few band photos and then you can find the booklet inside. It has all the lyrics, credits, and some thanks. The packaging gives it a 9.

Songs: 7 Butch Walkers out of 10
This is a modern hard rock CD that Butch Walker produced, and he co-wrote one song called "Lights Are Low" which is one of my favorite songs on the CD. It's catchy stuff and you can see Butch's influence here and there. I like this CD, though it's still more middle of the road rock that's all over radio, along with the likes of Nickelback, Fuel, Tantric, Default, Puddle Of Mudd, Incubus, and so on. After a while all these bands start to sound the same. The single "Faithless" is getting some pretty good radio play and there are numerous singles on here.

Comments: "Burn It Black" is safe and easily consumable for the masses. Nothing on here reinvents the wheel but yet again they weren't trying too. Plus there is a long hair in the band who looks like a cross between Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton, so they get my love for that.
