SLUDGETTE OF THE MONTH

Melanie Rose

A few years ago we had a Sludgette named Melissa Rose, and now we have a Melanie Rose! She just enlisted in the National Guard, is an aspiring belly dancer, and has worked as a photographer/assistant trainer for an exotic cat sanctuary mostly working with tigers but also lions, leopards, and mountian lions. Sounds like she's got plenty of stuff going on.

Sin City, baby!

5. Ambitions: To be a professional belly-dancer, to live my life to the fullest and have no regrets.

6. Turn-ons: A sense of humor, originality, great personal hygiene, long hair, confidence, even arrogance up to a point.

7. Turn-offs: Back hair, mens sandals, self-depreciation.

8. Favorite Bands: Motlet Crue! RATT, Poison, Def Leppard, Faster Pussycat, Billy Idol, HIM, Spike Diamond, Hearg, Jackyl, L.A. Guns, Guns N'Roses, Lita Ford, Madonna, Rolling Stones, and The Zombies!

10. How long have you been coming to Metal Sludge?
About a year now, one of my friends sent me a link to a Nikki Sixx interview and I was hooked.

11. What do you do for a living?
I'm in the National Guard, I'm actually filling out this questionaire in my barracks at boot camp. Someone is checking my email for me while I'm gone and I got the survey via regular mail. I've been in Basic Training seven weeks now and will finish in the beginning of April, and will ship to Georgia for Advanced Individual Training, my military job is Satellite Communications which has alot to do with radars and stuff.

12. You say you play bass. Can you play anything complicated like the intro to "Unskinny Bop" or anything like that?
Not "Unskinny Bop", but I can play "Talk Dirty to Me", the intro to "Crazy Train", "When You Were Mine", and some other stuff. Nothing to complicated yet.

13. When did you lose your virginity and how?
I'm as pure as fresh fallen snow.

14. I wish I had: Handcuffed one of the many rocker boys I met last summer when I was wearing my handcuff belt.

15. Why belly-dancing?
I've always loved dancing. Belly dancing has great costumes, it's a really good work-out and guys love it!

16. The way to my heart is: I have a weakness for bad boys with a soft side.

17. How do you feel about being our Sludgette of the Month?
I'm so thrilled, I've been wanting this for quite awhile!
