Florida -- Over the weekend Metal Sludge was first to report HERE that Great White singer Jack Russell was hospitalized. But the news is Jack is back - out and about in the sunshine state right now.

"Jack has been discharged from a Florida hospital today and the shows are on for this weekend.“ says management.

Jack himself says: "I feel great" but admits he has to change up his diet a bit.

Russell had been hospitalized for an infection in his intestines last Friday morning.  The band Great White went and played both Friday and Saturday shows without their frontman and jammed covers with the locals. Both shows are still on for this Friday and Saturday.

Word is that the doctors gave him instructions on what kind of things he should and should not be eating - basically he needs to be on a low fiber diet.  

One interesting fact was revealed by Russell himself,"Save Your Love" was one of my nurse's wedding songs."
