Jack Russell Tour Diary #11
Hey there rockers, it's been one more killer week! Got to hang out with Matt Cooper and Co. from Pod Zeppelin-had a really fun interview, it was definitely a laugh. They rebroadcast the show on XM Radio-here's the link if ya wanna listen: http://bit.ly/JackRussell
On Saturday night we played my hometown, Redondo Beach, at The Brixton. It was totally packed and the audience was amazing as always. I am continuously blown away by the reception I'm given, although I must say that I'm probably happier to see them then they are me.
Gonna be taking a musical break to gear up for the America Rocks Tour, but that's not to say I wont be busy. We start filming this month for my upcoming television show. I'm meeting with the producer and camera crew in a couple of days. I wish I could fill you all in on the details, but at this time I'm not allowed. Suffice it to say, it's gonna be great! I hope to be able to fill you in soon.
One last thing, My wife Heather and I were sitting on the couch yesterday evening when we heard this huge "Boom". I went onto the back deck and this drunk guy in a sailboat had crashed into the back of our boat. Fortunately the damage to ours was minimal and he had insurance. I took his info and had him shove off before the Harbor Patrol showed up, no sense in him going to jail, after all his boat suffered some serious damage. I started to laugh and Heather asked me what was so funny. I told her "I'm just glad it wasn't the other way around". It's nice to be sober again.Until next time, remember, don't drink and sail.
Peace,
Captain Jack "Mista Bone" Russell
