Bret to Joe: "I’ve never lip synched a fucking thing in my life. Ever!”

Recently Joe Elliot of Def Leppard was interviewed at Sweden Rock Festival and took a swipe at Poison and Motley Crue. Joe said some shit about how these LA Glam bands cared about their image and mascara more than the music.

Joe Elliot of Def Leppard: "If you actually look at the way that the Glam bands (if you want to call them that) from Los Angeles dressed themselves up. They totally missed the point....They didn't have any substance musically I don't think in comparison to us....bands that do that, are doing it to cover up the fact that there is no substance in their music...I think Andy McCoy (Hanoi Rocks) does the best Keith Richards, so much better than Motley Crue, Poison or any of those bands. They were real, the rest of those guys, it was all a bit fake for me."

Bret Michaels and Poison played the same festival the very next day. A reporter mentioned what Joe said about them and Bret bitch slaps Joe a good one.
