Swedish imports VAINS of JENNA enter a Los Angeles recording studio this month with Producer Brent Woods. The band are set to record the follow up to their "Lit up - Let Down" Filthy Note debut. The disc was the first on MTV & Skateboard star BAM MARGERA's indy record label.

"We've been holed up in a tiny shit hole rehearsal room in Hollywood for months writing" says Lizzy DeVine. The frontman adds "we wouldn't have it any other way, small, hot, dirty and cramped. Just like our tour van." Afterall this is a band who lived in guitar player Nicki Kin's silver Volvo stationwagon in a London alley for 30 days during a UK tour.

Woods also produced the bands most recent track "Enemy in Me" featured on the "Viva La Bands Vol. 2" (Ferret Music). See the video HERE.

Since landing stateside in May of 2006 the band criss crossed the US roughly a dozen times with the likes of Fireball Ministry, Wednesday 13, Cradle of Filth, GWAR, Poison & RATT. After upwards of 300 shows VoJ are set to do it again.

"The new songs will be a kick in the face for people who think they know what we're all about." Says DeVine. As for Producer Brent Woods, Nicki Kin says firmly: "Brent knows our band. He knows what we want, and we're confident he has the same outlook we do - to make great rock n' roll music."

Finally the band will be returning to Sweden this fall to tour their homeland and parts of Europe. "It will be great to come home and play for our fans after being away for so long" says drummer Jacki Stone.  In the meantime, "VAINS of JENNA are set to whore it up on the West Coast on the weekends while recording the new material." states bassist JP White.
