Nikki Sixx returns! Welcome to our first 3-Wind! We first talked to Nikki on May 11, 1999. Then we did his Rewind on February 24, 2000. So when Nikki emailed us a few weeks ago saying he would like to speak his mind about a few things, we thought it was only right to make him our first 3-Wind! IT IS SOMETHING I NEVER THOUGHT WE WOULD SEE ON OUR SHORES. I NEVER THOUGHT OUR CHILDREN WOULD HAVE TO ASK THE QUESTION THEY HAD TO ASK ON THAT DAY.AND I HOPE WE FIND A HIGHER ROAD TO DEALING WITH THIS THAN WE DID WITH PEARL HARBOUR....NOT FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN KILLING MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE.I BELIEVE THE ATTACK ON TERRORISM IS THE WAY TO STOP THIS ACTION FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. I AM 100% BEHIND GEORGE BUSH SO FAR.

Dave Mustaine said the following in our 20 Questions with him last month, "They cut Anthrax' pay completely and cut ours down by $5,000 instead of sending home one of the extra trucks of bullshit and dancers. If they had sent home all of that stuff and just played, all three of us would have been able to play. They told everyone about why Anthrax was not on the tour, and that we both were going to get more time and Megadeth did not get one second more. It was about the money, the tour was a losing venture and should have been shut down sooner. The only reason we even considered playing on that fucking disaster was because our friends in "Thrax" were on it.
I would rather have my testicles eaten by Hannibal Lechter than tour with them again."
What do you have to say about that?
DAVE HAS A WAY OF DISTORTING THINGS TO MAKE HIMSELF SEEM SO WISE AND ON TOP OF IT. TO BE HONEST IF HE WAS SO ON TOP OF IT WHY WAS HIS BAND ONLY DRAWING 500 PEOPLE A NIGHT ON THE MAX TOUR?? WE WERE THE HEADLINERS, SO WHY WOULD WE SEND HOME PRODUCTION SO WE COULD CHEAT OUR FANS OUT OF A LESS THAN OVER THE TOP SHOW?? ANTHRAX WASNT CUT IN PAY,THEY WERE CUT FROM THE TOUR...BETWEEN THEM AND MEGADETH THEY WERNT DRAWING FLIES((EXCEPT WHEN DAVE OPENED HIS MOUTH AND TRIED TO BE WITTY WITH HIS ONSTAGE BANTER). I HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR ALL THE GUYS, BUT DAVE DOESN'T WANT TO FACE THE FACT THAT IS WASN'T THEIR SHOW. I WAS THE ONE WHO FOUGHT FOR BOTH BANDS ON THE TOUR. I WAS TOLD FROM THE GET GO THE PACKAGE WASN'T AS STRONG AS THE HEADLINER....ALSO, DAVE DIDN'T SEEM SO EAGER TO SEND THE BACKGROUND SINGERS HOME WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO FUCK THEM THOUGH, DID HE??

7. What happened to Americoma Records? And do artists really trust artists?
WE TRIED TO BUILD THE COMPANY ON BUDGETING AND DOING MOST OF THE WORK IN-HOUSE WITH A MARKETING COMPANY. WE FOUND THE TRUST FACTOR HIGH WITH THE ARTIST BUT THE ABILITY TO REACH THE AUDIENCE HARD WITHOUT CORPORATION FUNDING.WE PLAN ON MOVING TO A MAJOR IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS AN RELAUNCHING....WERE TALKING NOW....

8. You've always been very image conscious. What do you think about today's bands that are successful but have no image and all look the same? Like 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Puddle Of Mudd, etc.
NOT MY CUP OF TEA MOSTLY. IF I FALL IN LOVE WITH A SONG ON THE RADIO AND THEN SEE A PICTURE OR A VIDEO AND ITS NOT EXCITING IT LEAVES ME DISAPPOINTED..OF COURSE THERE ARE BANDS LIKE MUDVAYNE THAT LOOK COOLER THAN SHIT BUT THEIR MUSIC ISNT THERE FOR MET YET TOO...

9. What's the best story about you that you don't remember doing, but were told you did?
PUNCHED TOMMY IN THE FACE AT THE LEXINGTON QUEEN IN TOKYO IN 87.WE PLAYED 4 SOLD OUT SHOWS THAT WEEK AND HE WOULDN'T TALK TO ME...I DONT REMEMBER DOING IT....

21. We did an interview not long ago with Keri Kelli from Slash's Snakepit. He said the following about you, "We were at the same hotel and besides him ripping some shit off from Slash back in the old days, which we don't back, um, there was some fucking tension in Japan. The motherfucker looked at me and I, I.....asked him.....It was after we were out with Vince all night. Me and Blackout got in a little trouble with Vince and the next day down in the lobby and uh, we were trying to figure out who's cars, in Japan all these like little minivans they drive you around in, there was like 10 minivans outside, and I go, "Ahh shit, well here's everybody lets get the fuck out of here." So we walked outside and I see Nikki, um which I had no problem with really before that, and I told Nikki, I go, "Hey man, I don't know who's cars are who's." Mother fucker looked at me for like....3 seconds, you know a foot from my face, and then he turns around and walks away. I don't know what that was all about. So I didn't think that was cool."

22. How do you feel about Poison's last few tours doing better than Motley Crue's tours? Did you ever think that would happened and would you consider touring with them?
