Grounds Hogs Day — Is it Ground Hogs Day? No it’s not. Unless you’re in Enuff Z’Nuff.

Metal Sludge was first to tell you HERE that Enuff Z’Nuff had trouble on the horizon upon gathering info from the almighty and always disgruntled Donnie Vie.

Today the band officially names Johnny Monaco as their new lead singer. For the second time. Just like L.A. Guns (Tracii’s version that is) named Jizzy Pearl their vocalist back in 1998, they came full circle and Tracii brought Jizzy back for a second stint in 2009. That ended with Pearl quitting and Guns hiring Dilana to the dismay of many – which in turn lasted all of 72 days.

Anyway…moving along.

Now let’s go back into the Enuff  Z’Nuff time machine shall we?

Johnny Monaco had been playing guitar with Enuff Z’Nuff during the years 1996-2008. But when Donnie and the band split, Monaco slid over to center stage and took on vocal duties as well in 2002 thru 2008. Once Vie came back, the chemistry wasn’t gonna work – so exit Johnny Monaco. Now with the recent events HERE it seems that Chip has pulled a Tracii and invited back Monaco for a second stint fronting the band.

Johnny goes way back with Metal Sludge as well. Read his "20 Questions" from August 5th 2003
