Stephen Pearcy confirms Juan Croucier’s RATT return
Classic RATT shot
Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy called into Eddie’s Sirius/XM show, Eddie Trunk Live, today (April 23rd) and confirmed that original Ratt bassist Juan Croucier will be joining the band onstage at the M3 festival scheduled for May 11th-12th in Columbia, Maryland.
Pearcy told Eddie that "Juan is playing with [former Ratt bassist] Robbie [Crane's] blessing." He added he had "a great rehearsal with Juan today (April 23rd)" and that Juan "is welcome back." He also stated that he is "very excited about it."
As previously reported Metal Sludge was reporting that rumors had been swirling that Croucier will rejoin Ratt at their May 12th appearance at the M3 Festival in Maryland.
Additionally, Ratt continues to write songs for their new studio record, the follow-up to their 2010 comeback album Infestation, and also plan on releasing a compilation collection through iTunes.
Says vocalist Stephen Pearcy, "While Ratt writes and works on the next RoadRunner record 2012, the band will be releasing a compilation record on their own via iTunes. Music from their vaults — un-released and live tracks from 1983-1991."
