Vains of Jenna throw in the towel and call it quits!
VAINS OF JENNA 2011 – Nicki Kin, JP White, Jesse Forte & Jacki Stone
In October 2005 Metal Sludge were the first to introduce the masses to a young band from Sweden called VAINS OF JENNA. The band was stateside by the spring of 2006 and signed to Bam Margera’s Filthy Note Records a month after their arrival. In 2007 the band opened for Poison & Ratt on a summer tour and then spent 5 years playing 600 shows in 25 countries. Now it’s all a memory as the band has called it quits.
VAINS OF JENNA have released the following statement on their Twitter:
Vains Of Jenna calls it quits
After 7 years, we have amicably and mutually decided to end Vains Of Jenna.
There’s no drama behind the decision. We simply feel like it is time to move on in our lives and close this chapter. It has been a truly amazing journey for us over the years and we are grateful for the opportunity to do what we’ve done with this band.
A huge thanks to everyone involved, all of our supporters, and of course all of our fans from around the world. We love you.
1,2,3,4 THE END!!!
Nicki, Jacki, JP and Jesse
On the heels of the above announcement VAINS OF JENNA former frontman Lizzy DeVine issued his own statement. The bands original voice abruptly left in April 2010 shortly after releasing their 5 Star rated – critically acclaimed "The Art of Telling Lies".
