Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot

In July 2010 Quiet Drummer Frankie Banali said:
"Frankie say let’s make a Rockumentary! Frankie Banali of QUIET RIOT opens his personal home video vaults and his life, for a rockin’ documentary." With this he started a fund raising project asking fans to help pay for a Documentary on the bands history.

More from Banali and his project: "We are looking to fans and kickstarter users to help us finish this film. We have much done already, we’re about 75% finished. We need at least 20K to finish shooting and editing and for festival entry fees. We plan to shoot for the rest of the summer and edit this fall. The clip above is just a small teaser of old footage."

It’s been a year now and Metal Sludge checked in with Frankie to ask the status of this project. His reply is below.

Sludge,

Films take at least 1 1/2 to 2 years to complete. We have been shooting for a year already and are expecting to release the film through the film festival circuit of 2012.

Frankie

We thank Frankie for his swift reply.
