Steven (live) & Chip a few days ago in Spain.

Steven is hot in the news this week following his block buster of a 20 Questions.

Part II will be up early next week – look for it.  Here a few select quotes coming your way from Steven Adler in Part II.

"I did heroin one time before with Izzy and Slash and I was never so sick in my whole life. "

"…they (Gn’R) wanted to give me two thousand dollars and throw me in the street. And take my royalties, my song writing credits, they wanted to take everything from me."

"…one night I just had to go out a buy a brand new Ford Bronco. Umm…I probably spent 600 bucks on drugs one night. Yeah, in one night you know, you know 600 is a lot of drugs, so it at least took me 2-3 days to do. (Steven starts laughing) I’m kidding. I’m only kidding….the most I really spent was probably only 300."

"Having sex with this amazing hot chick on the top of Vicki Hamilton’s apartment. And she was so fine, my kind of girl, dark hair, beautiful, but she didn’t shave under her arms."

This Q&A with his message board fans, is straight off Steven Adler’s official website. Have a look see.

Well, the folks at the www.StevenAdler.Net message board demanded for the return of the QNA, so we are proud to be able to bring it back for everyone’s enjoyment.

This round of QNA went a little different than previous outings. Adler’s Appetite bassist and legendary rocker Chip Z’Nuff, joined us for the fun.

So come with us now to a smoke-filled rented mini-van and let the wackiness unfold…

STEVEN: Chip, will you do these questions with me?

CHIP :
They don’t want to hear me, they want Steven Adler!

STEVEN :
Yeah, but I want you on it.

FANSITE:
Yeah, Chip, feel free to interject!

CHIP:
Alright, cool…

FANSITE :  Our good friend on the board, REINA MORA, asks: "I watched an old Steven interview on TV and was wondering if he still painted and practiced Yoga?"

STEVEN :
Reina…Mora? I like that! Yoga, no. Painting yes. I enjoy painting very much.

CHIP:
Right now there’s actully a few paintings of mine out there…I use, uh, I can’t tell you my technique, but it’s…illegal? Those paintings will be out soon…

STEVEN :
I have sold quite a few of my paintings.

FANSITE :
So you’re a professional artist?

STEVEN :
Exactly. I can call myself a "professional artist".

FANSITE :
Does that mean it’s any good?

STEVEN :
I think it’s good. I use flourescent paint, very hippyish.

FANSITE :
I know they’re good, very trippy.

CHIP :
I do hippyish things, too, that’s a good word. BUT – yours aren’t illegal, mine are! I think there will be more of a demand for the illegal!

STEVEN: Oh, yeah, you know I’m gonna want some of ‘em!

FANSITE :
KOEK asks "Steven, do you know any bands from the Netherlands, like Golden Earring or Herman Brood & His Wild Romance?"

CHIP:
Of course, Radar Love!

STEVEN :
Isn’t Hanoi Rocks from there?

CHIP :
Finland!

STEVEN :
Finland, that’s right. No I don’t…

FANSITE:
What do you think of Golden Earring?

STEVEN :
Oh, I love Golden Earring!

FANSITE :
Did you have that album back in the day?

STEVEN :
I had that 8-Track back in the day!

CHIP : George Gleeman is a quintessential guitar player for that era, too. Lot of cats listened to them and were influenced, like U2, countless other American bands.

FANSITE : GAWAIN asks "I would like to know if the drum kit Steven is using now is the same set up as he used to use in GNR?"

STEVEN :
No, lately, since these long tours, out of the country tours, I use a different set everynight. I was working with this one company, PEACE DRUMS, great drums, but they can’t seem to send the drum sets out to Europe or Asia, South America where I need them.

FANSITE :
OK, this is from a cool chick on the board. DUFFSGAL wants to know "Who is the coolest person Steven ever played with?"

STEVEN :
Coolest Person I ever played with was Steven Tyler!

CHIP :
You played with Tyler?

STEVEN:
Dude, back in the day, we opened for them. OH, oh, oh, oh! Scott Gorham and John Sykes. I played with them it was amazing and an honor.

CHIP : For me it would be Val Kilmer and Steve Stevens at The Limlite in NY. Three o’clock in the morning doin’ "Mony Mony". Jam packed, sold out, trim beyond belief!

Val Kilmer sang, with Derek Frigo, we were killing!

STEVEN :
That is cool as shit!

FANSITE :
Val Kilmer ? He’s my favorite Door! (laughs at own joke)

Okay, IZZY DUTCH asks : "I’m just curious about the Izzy collaboration, if he actually went down and wrote songs with Steven and Sheldon, or if it’s still planned?"

STEVEN :
Yeah, it’s still in the making…

CHIP :
He called yesterday, he was gonna come out to the show but he got tied up. Literally!

STEVEN :
Literally!

FANSITE :
Also, he asks why didn’t Izzy make it to the Argentina gig, again?

STEVEN :
He had other plans goin’ on in Mexico.

FANSITE : Okay, KOEK’s back and asks : "The band you were in with Gilby, Freaks in the Room, what songs did you play and why did the band break up?"

STEVEN :
That was just a fun band. We were playing at the KeyClub Monday nights as a house band. We just did a bunch of seventies tunes; Cheap Trick, Stones, y’know crap like that. Seventies stuff.

FANSITE :
(KOEK continues) "Did you do any guest appearances in the period of 1992 – 2002?"

CHIP :
Yeah, he’s playing on the JOHNNY ROTTEN JR. record!

STEVEN :
That was it! But, uh, no.

FANSITE :
(KOEK continues) "Now an easy one; which one would you pick – Beer, Wine, Nighttrain, or Jaigermeister?

STEVEN :
Jaigermeister.

CHIP :
How ’bout none of the above for me? Sounds like a shortcut to thinking!

Are you (FANSITE) doing this for someone else?

STEVEN :
He does my website, people ask questions.

CHIP :
That’s very kind of you…

FANSITE :
(Coughs loudly)

STEVEN :
You gotta cough to set it off, baby.

FANSITE : ILOVESTEVENADLER asks…

STEVEN :
Thank you.

FANSITE :
…"While you were in GNR what bands inspired you to do what you do?"

STEVEN :
Queen, Cheap Trick, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple…

CHIP :
(whispers) sex pistols…

STEVEN :
The Sex Pistols. I remember when Johnny Rotten Jr. was born.

CHIP :
Yup!

FANSITE :
"How long did you have a heroin problem after you were kicked out of GNR?"

STEVEN : Ten years. TWELVE years.

CHIP :
C’mon, you’re nit-picking now!

STEVEN :
These are questions from people..

CHIP :
I’m answerin’, too, and I’m stickin’ up for my brother! So quit talkin’ about the past history! Noone wants to hear about that! Let’s talk about what happened last night!

FANSITE :
What needles did you prefer? No, just kiddin’…

STEVEN :
Yeah, yeah…

FANSITE : Okay, RINA_KROPSIRCLES asks: "How ’bout comin’ to Canada, and if you do, you can’t leave out Victoria like everyone else!"

STEVEN :
Victoria? I’m thinkin’ I fucked this real young chick…

CHIP :
There is so much trim in Victoria, it’s over the top! Plus, the pot out there, it’s basically legal, everyone grows! Very open minded, too, sexually…

STEVEN :
I think Victoria was the best place I been to. Most beautiful girls, and a really beautiful city.

CHIP :
Everybody’s just puffin’ all day! Great culture!

STEVEN :
And we ARE going to be touring Canada after Europe and South America. Third leg of the tour will be Canada.

FANSITE :
RAZ 4 asks : "When will Steven’s book see the light of day?"

STEVEN :
Yesterday? When God says the time is right.

CHIP :
Look, we don’t have till the 12th of never! When it’s there…

STEVEN :
…It’s there! (laughs)

FANSITE : SHANE asks "Is Adler’s Appetite all GNR songs? And if so how close to Axl does your singer sound?

CHIP :
He’s Axl’s illegitimate cousin, are you kidding me?! The guys got pipes! Very strong! We take this gig seriously, we’re playing with a fucking legend! These guys are pros! We got the cat from Beautiful Creatures, I’ve been in E’Nuff Z’nuff for 15 – 20 years. We’ve all been doing this for a long time. We’re not new to this rodeo. We’re playing these songs as close to the record as we can, and we are proud to be playing with Steven.

STEVEN :
I’m proud to be playing with my boys!

CHIP :
(Sheldon) is one of the last of the great frontman! There’s not a lot of cats that can get out there and sing and just front the show. It’s a lost art in Rock n’ Roll. Weiland’s one of the only guys out there. (Sheldon) does a fine job, and Axl would not be disrespected, or would not look upon it and frown.

STEVEN :
Yeah…!

FANSITE :
ANTRUDY asks: Lately there’s been a lot of controversy regarding you and Jizzy Pearl. Do you have a last word on the subject?"

STEVEN :
Good luck. God bless.

CHIP :
No reason to sling mud when you live in a glass house! We just wish everyone the best. Good vibes. No reason to hold any anger about somethin’ that’s…a…shortcut to thinking!

FANSITE : POPCORNROSE asks : "Did you ever think about getting back with Duff, Slash, and Izzy to form a new band with new songs and a new singer?"

STEVEN :
That would be nice, but the main goal is to get the five of us brothers back together. That’s the main goal!

FANSITE :
Any last words for your fans?

STEVEN :
I’m just thankful and appreciate and love all the fans and I’m lookin’ forward to meetin’ each and everyone of you at each of these shows comin’ up.

CHIP :
May the best thing that happened to everybody last year, be the worst thing that happens this year! My name is Chip Z’Nuff..

STEVEN : My name is Steven Adler..

CHIP :
Peace!

STEVEN :
…and love!
